I am pleased to state that it has now been two years since I married Matthew-love-of-my-life-Priess. We celebrated our second anniversary in Seoul. Seoul was more clean, Western, and aggressive than I would have expected. I had a great time. Korean food is delicious, we will be making some bipimbab around here in the future. The street food is incredibly interesting as well: egg bread, waffles with ice cream and sweet rice dumplings everywhere. Loads and loads of kimchi and a Korean barbecue beckoning from every street corner. More to come on Seoul soon!!
With summer coming, I keep thinking about smoothies. I’m a bit obsessed. Raspberries have always been one of my favorite foods and I’m constantly trying to think of ways I can incorporate them into my diet. I love dark chocolate and have the good excuse that a little bit is heart healthy. Quick, simple, easy, a little sophisticated, this smoothie is sure to make your day!
If you are into smoothies, it’s a good idea to keep some frozen berries and bananas on hand ready to go. Just put everything in a blender and it’s good to go in just a few minutes!
- 3 cups frozen raspberries
- 1 cup frozen bananas
- 1 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla
- ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 Tablespoon agave or honey
- Put all ingredients into blender, process until smooth. Taste and add more sweetener if desired.
